With its softly flowing rivulets, deep ravines and rugged terrain, Satpura National Park boasts of species like Black Buck, Gaur, Leopard, Indian Giant Squirrel, Wild Boar and Royal Bengal Tiger. Bird-lovers are also not to be disappointed by the park's biodiversity - Black Eagles and Hornbills are a frequent sight in the park's northern reaches.

The Denwa River is the lifeline of Satpura. Besides jeep safaris, one can also take in the scenic beauty of this park by boat and encounter many birds and even the odd marsh crocodile!
