DAY 01: KOVALAMI

Arrival at Trivandrum Airport. Meet and assist by our tour manager and transferred to the Resort in Kovalam, one of the most famous palm-fringed beaches in India. Check in at the resort. Rest of the day is at leisure.


DAY 02: KOVALAM

Full day sightseeing of Trivandrum. Trivandram or Thiruvananthapuram , the capital city of Kerala still preserves the ancient roots of life in Kerala Visit the Padmabhaswami Temple, Horse Palace, the Handicraft Emporium and the Chalai Market. Return back to your resort. Dinner and overnight stay.


DAY 03: ALLEPPEY

After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey. On arrival board the Houseboat for an overnight cruise though the unique backwaters of Kerala. Rest of the day free at leisure Overnight on board houseboat.
(Backwater is a body of stagnant water connected to a river. The backwaters of Kerala- meandering inland lakes networked by canals - stretch to over 1900km. Boat across these tranquil stretches are an experience unique to Kerala)


DAY 04: PERIYAR

After breakfast disembark at Kumarakom and drive to Periyar through the rubber Plantations. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon go for the spice plantation visit and later in the evening do the game viewing at the Periyar Lake. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is spread out over an area of 777 sq kms and one can see leopard, tiger, elephant; bison and wild boar. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 05: MUNNAR

After breakfast drive through beautiful green stretches to reach Munnar, one of the most beautiful hill stations in Kerala. On arrival go for the sight seeing of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park, the natural habitat of the Ibex called Nilgiri Thar, Mattupetty Dam and the Munnar town. Walk through the Hills and enjoy your afternoon leisurely. Overnight at the resort.


DAY 06: COCHIN

Morning drive down the valley to reach Cochin the palm green commercial capital of Kerala. Cochin is famous for its oldest church in India, 500 year old Portuguese houses and many old structures. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at the resort.


DAY 07: COCHIN

After breakfast go for a sightseeing tour of Cochin. We will visit Jewish synagogue in Mattancherry, (closed on Saturdays) and stroll around the Jewish Town and the antique shops. Also visit the Chinese fishing nets and St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace, closed on Fridays). In the evening watch the famous Kathakali dance show. Overnight at the resort


DAY 08: DEPARTURE FOR COCHIN AIRPORT

Transfer to Airport in time for your onward flight. Tour Ends!
