the North, Bangladesh on the West
and Myanmar on the South and East.
Being at the confluence of three major
bio-geographical realm of the world,
it is extremely rich in floral and
faunal biodiversity with several endemic
species.
Namdapha National Park with an area
of 1985 sq. kms in Arunachal Pradesh
is unique in the sense that it spreads
from the Sea Level to 4500 mtrs; thereby
making it a home for a formidable
diversity of plants and animals. It
has perhaps the richest diversity

All the four big cats - Tiger, Leopard,
Clouded Leopard and Snow Leopard are
found here.
Dibru - Saikhowa National Park situated
in the south bank of the river Brahmaputra

the properties of both the Indian

parts of the park one part is wet
land and the rest is mainly grassland
and dense forest. The Park is home
to the White winged Wood- Duck and
semi-wild horse called the Feral Horses,
which are third and fourth generation
of those tamed army horses left loose
during the earthquake here in 1950.
