BHUBANESWAR - BOLANGIR - SONEPUR - SAGARPALLI - SAMBALPUR - DHENKANAL - NUAPATNA - BHUBANESWAR

Day 01: BHUBANESWAR

On arrival meet and assist and transfer to hotel. Half day sightseeing of 1st century BC Jain caves. Enjoy the lovely sunset. Overnight.

Day 02: BHUBANESWAR - BOLANGIR (320 km - 7 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Bolangir, on the way visit typical textile weaver's villages of Orissa. On arrival check in at lodge, dinner and overnight.

Day 03: BOLANGIR - SONEPUR - SAGARPALLI - BOLANGIR

Today we will go for a full day trip to Sonepur and Sagarpalli, the best silk and cotton weaving villages of Orissa. The master weaver will explain the intricacies of Tusser silk and natural dying. Watch the Jalla works on textiles. Return to hotel in the weaving.

Day 04: BOLANGIR - SAMBALPUR

Morning proceed to Sambalpur, on the way we will visit other villages in the area and see their weaving works called 'bandha' along with biggest weavers society at Baragarh. Arrive at Sambalpur in the evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 05: SAMBALPUR - DHENKANAL

Today proceed to Dhenkanal in the morning, on the way visit the famous leaning temple of Huma and visit holy Ashram Gadi of Mahima Alekh and Dokra Casting village. Dinner and overnight.

Day 06: DHENKANAL - NUAPATNA - BHUBANESWAR

Today proceed to Nuapatna. This village has many weavers still actively producing the centuries old traditional fabrics. The weaving technique - tie & dye called Ikat is famous worldwide. Continue on to Bhubaneswar, on arrival check into hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 07:

Today morning after breakfast transfer to Airport / Railway station.
