Our
group departures consist of small numbers
(minimum 4 to maximum 12 people) and
always with a tour escort who knows
the area thoroughly.
Tours are designed in such a way that
you get to walk in the villages with
a lot of possibilities to interact with
the local people, try their food, and
see their traditional dance and more.
Our guide/ escort helps in explaining
to each member their customs and life
in general. This is one of the reasons
why our group departures are usually
limited to about 12 people.
We try to put up our guests in the best
accommodation available, which in certain
occasions, turn out to be just basic
as these are some of the remotest areas
in India and relatively untouched by
tourism. On other occasions we come
across Tea Bungalows and heritage properties
with a lot of character which we certainly
make use of. These properties have just
a handful of rooms, another reason for
a small group.
Let us tell you that 5 out of the 8
Northeastern states require a special
permit to enter and there are a few
formalities to take care of. We will
assist you in getting these permits.
For instance, a group consisting of
4 or more persons is eligible to apply
for this permit. Therefore every departure
is guaranteed by us with minimum 4 people
traveling together.
